So I am a USA Archery judge who worked Collegiate Nationals in June where, due to protocols, they didn’t have a cooler of water for us in the extreme heat and humidity. Fortunately one of the other Judges brought his Sasquatch type cooler from home so we could stay hydrated. I noticed he had to put it in a wagon daily since it had no wheels. I had another event coming up, JOAD Nationals in Alabama in July, so my husband said buy a good cooler. After much research, I decided on a RovR 45 for my trip. As it turned out, they agreed to provide a cooler at the event, so my RovR stayed in the car, with the windows rolled up, in Alabama in July, with ninety something degree heat and high humidity for 5 days! My original 20lbs. of ice was still there till day 4!!! Best cooler ever!!!
My ROVR 45, she is a beauty, and she's sure not shy to show she's the badass on the playground. She hogs attention at the beach, she hogs attention at the park, she hogs attention at camp, and (oh yeah) she hoards attention in our backyard bbq gatherings. Best of, she blings out in cotture accessories to accentuate her slickness and none of this cheap third party afterthought products grace her lines. And when she looks at me ... she knows. She knows, she's so worth it in my eyes.
We just took our new Rovr45 to the beach and it was perfect! Easy to roll on the sand and held everything our family of three needed. Just made beach week ten times easier and kept everything cold all day!
This cooler is almost everything I wanted. It is surprisingly roomy for being low profile and compact, held ice for days on our trip, and had all the features I needed. My only compliant is the telescopic handle is very loose and feels like it will break right off. I think for the price, it should be more stable…
I have been looking for a high quality ice chest for some time. In comparing the YETI to the ROVR, we looked for things such as ability to stay cool, portability and overall function. This ROVR included a dry bin, extra storage bag on top and plenty of room inside. The dry bin does take up half the space on the inside, but it is separated so you could potentially use one side for more drinks. The comparative YETI did not come with a dry bin at all. I also read reviews that some people were disappointed with the wheels on the YETI. The wheels on the ROVR are heavy duty without feeling heavy duty when you are rolling it around. Very easy to maneuver. I also purchased the accessories pack which I know I will love to use. On the customer service side, I mistakenly ordered the wrong color and noticed it on the shipping email. I called ROVR and the guy was able to intercept the shipment and replace the cooler with the color I wanted. Super nice, super efficient. So all good so far. Loving my ROVR.
