The RovR RollR 60 bike cooler with BikR bicycle tow bar
After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, RovR Products has shipped hundreds of their
premium RollR 60 wheeled coolers to backers throughout the US. Though they offer heavy
duty pneumatic wheels and up to ten days of ice retention, bike cooler RovR is finding that among the
cooler’s most compelling features is its optional BikR tow bar. More than half of the coolers that
RovR shipped after their Kickstarter campaign were sold with the BikR kit. The bicycle tow bar
allows users to attach the cooler to a bicycle and tow it along anywhere a bike can go. It is the
first and only cooler that tows behind a bike.
Feature Rich Cooler for Bikes
The RollR 60 is a premium wheeled cooler with a sixty-quart capacity that is made to go off the
road and with you to the campground, fishing hole, hunting grounds, sporting event, or anywhere
else you may get thirsty or hungry. It can pack nearly a hundred twelve-ounce cans, or about
sixty cans and ten pounds of ice. A removable storage bin keeps other goods, such as
sandwiches, produce, and snacks, dry and cool and protected from getting crushed. Other
features include cup holders, a cutting board that attaches to the side of the cooler, keeping the
lid free, and the Bikr tow bar which turns this extremely versatile cooler into a de facto bike
cooler, following wherever you and a bicycle can go.
Thr RollR 60 features up to ten days of ice retention. Keeping the lid closed as much as possible
and chilling the cooler to temperature before filling it help maximize ice retention time.
Rotomolded construction and two inches of foam insulation, as well as an ergonomic interior and
a refrigerator-grade sealing gasket, are keys to the long ice retention.
The Bike Cooler
With heavy-duty pneumatic tires, an offset pull handle, and the optional bicycle tow bar, the
RollR 60 is designed with portability in mind. The wheels are aluminum, manufactured by
RovR, and they roll on tough four-ply tires that grip instead of drift. Unlike the standard
injection-molded hollow plastic tires found on most coolers, the RollR’s tires are built to last.
The RollR 60 is fluid to pull on just about any terrain, from grass to concrete to trails. A large
padded aluminum handle makes the RollR easy to pull, and its offset design keeps it clear of
your heels and allows for comfortable tandem lugging.
The bicycle towing hitch fixes to just about any bicycle, and tows the RovR RollR 60 easily on a
range of different terrain, from streets and sidewalks to trails and paths, and even off-road in the
mountains, hills, and forests.
Wealth of Accessories
Among the RovR RollR’s standard accessories are a collapsible wagon bin that attaches to the
RollR’s closed lid for toting other goods, heavy duty lock points that have been bear-tested, and
accessory attachment points on the sides of the cooler to keep the lid accessible. Optional
accessories include the BikR kit, a stash bag, tie downs, a bottle opener, a charging lantern that
repowers your devices, a twisty light, and a JBL Pulse Bluetooth speaker. The BikR kit is
